Recorder of EgyptAir Black Box Flight “Repaired”
Cairo, Egypt – Egypt’s investigation commission on Tuesday said that one of the two black box flight recorders that plunged into the Mediterranean sea has been repaired, which boosted their hopes on the reason of its accident.
Two weeks ago, the two black box recorders were found, but were too damaged for them to trace information on what happened.
They were sent to France’s BEA air safety agency — which also extracted data from the black boxes of the ill-fated Rio de Janeiro to Paris flight that crashed in 2009 — to be repaired, where they arrived on Monday.
