RCBC Teams Up with DTI for Small Business Digitalization
Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) teams up with the Department of Trade and Industries (DTI) to help micro-businesses engage in digital payment and transactions.
More than 1.3 million sari-sari stores (small convenience store) from the “DiskarTech’s NegosyanTech” Program. This program aims to digitalize small businesses for them to embrace the modern world we are living.
“As DTI partners with DiskarTech’s pioneering app, we welcome the complete suite of digital financial services that will indeed benefit our MSMEs. We are thankful that they will be able to help more than 1.3 million sari-sari stores and market vendors in over 42,000 barangays,” said DTI Secretary Ramon Lopez.
Thanks to the new program, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) will have their own unique QR code that will be used in digital payments for their products and services. 3.25% annual interest will be earned by MSMEs using the said program.
Meanwhile, the “paki-suyo” mobile app services will also be essential for MSME owners as they have the opportunity to make different transactions like load, gaming pins, bills payment, fund transfer and many more.
Diskartech will soon feature a loan marketplace to all sectors such as formal and informal workers, MSME owners, OFWs and more. (MLC)
