Rainy Season Possible in 2nd Week of June–PAGASA
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said their projections indicate the rainy season may arrive in the second week of June, a few weeks later than usual.
PAGASA’s Manny Mendoza, in a report over GMA news online said that in the second week of June, the wet season will enter the country noting the delay. He added the rainy season usually starts between late May and early June.
PHL is still feeling the effects of the dry season and a mild El Niño that has dried up several farms.
Mendoza added that for now, said the country may expect hot and humid weather with isolated thunderstorms.
