Rain, Thunderstorms Over E. Visayas and Mindanao-PAGASA

PAGASA said that light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms may occur over Eastern Visayas and Mindanao on Friday.

The state weather agency,in its 5 am bulletin Friday, noted that these rains and thunderstorms may be partly due to the inter-tropical convergence zone affecting Mindanao, even as the Northeast Monsoon is affecting extreme Northern Luzon.

PAGASA also said that Eastern Visayas and Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with thunderstorms and with light to moderate rain showers.

Moderate to occasionally strong winds from the northeast will prevail over Luzon and Eastern Visayas and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to occasionally rough, it said.

PAGASA said Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Ilocos regions will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated light rain.

For some parts of the country, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast to north with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.
