Rain Showers, Thunderstorms Over Eastern Visayas, Bicol – PAGASA

PAGASA said rain showers and thunderstorms may occur over Eastern Visayas and Bicol area Tuesday, as the diffused tail-end of a cold front is affecting Bicol while the Northeast Monsoon is affecting Northern and Central Luzon.

In its 5 a.m. bulletin, PAGASA said Eastern Visayas and Bicol region will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms.

It added that Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Aurora and Quezon provinces will have cloudy skies with light rain while the rest of Northern and Central Luzon will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated light rain.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms, it said.

Moderate to strong winds from the northeast will prevail over the whole archipelago with moderate to rough seas, PAGASA said adding that a gale warning is up over Southern Luzon and the eastern seaboards of Central Luzon.

PAGASA said no cyclone is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Christmas week.
