PSTD Holds International Summit

True to its name as the gateway to the south, Cebu sets another milestone and positions itself as the new training and development hub in the country.

The Philippine Society for Training and Development (PSTD) Cebu, Corp. raises the bar of workplace learning and performance as it launches the first ever International Training and Development Summit (ITDS) on June 20 to 21 at the Cebu City Waterfront Hotel and Casino.

This will be the biggest gathering of trainers, Organizational Development (OD) professionals, coaches, educators, authors, and learning and development advocates this year and bring together 18 renowned thought leaders around the world. Headlining this event is one of the original 100 Change Agents and Organization Development pioneer, Roland Sullivan, who will run via live feed directly from the US.

Also in attendance as resource speakers are Joanne Weston Edes, Leadership and Performance Coach of Australian-based CPP Asia Pacific Pty., Ltd; American author and international speaker, Al Argo; Past and the only Filipino President of the World Federation of People Management Associations, Ernesto Espinosa; Dale Carnegie Trainer – Chicago Padma Siap; Intellicare President and Chief Executive Officer, Mario Sales, to name a few.

With this year’s theme of “Trailiblazing Learning Innovations,” the summit will cover topics relevant to the pursuit of breakthrough learning innovations apropos to the needs of the present time. It will showcase four major learning tracks: Training Techno-Innovations, Training Innogizer, Industry Best Practice Showcase and Career Builders.

Over the next few decades, workplace learning and performance is expected to undergo a profound change as the Philippine economy grew at its fastest pace and is now heralded as one of the emerging markets in the world.
