PRO 7 Gets 106 Motorcycles From Camp Crame
The Police Regional Office (PRO) 7 received 106 motorcycles from Camp Crame on Wednesday for distribution to the different police units in Central Visayas.
Chief Supt. Noli Taliño, PRO 7 director, said the vehicles can be used in areas that have difficult roads.
Talino said the 106 units of motorcycles are part of the 147 motorcycles that the Philippine National Police has allocated for PRO 7.
The remaining units will arrive in the coming days, Talino said.
Talino said the PRO 7 also received 21 Mahindra patrol vehicles last week.
Of the 21 patrol vehicles, three were given to the Cebu City Police Office; two to the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office; and two to the Mandaue City Police Office.
The offices of the regional director, deputy regional director for administration, deputy regional director for operations and Cebu Provincial Police Office also received patrol cars.
Eight national support units also received Mahindra patrol cars, among them, the Regional Crime Laboratory Office, Regional Internal Affairs Service, Regional Intelligence Unit, Regional Special Training Unit and Regional Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit. (PNA) LAP/EB/EDS
