Polo Bautista Takes Team Carmudi to the Top at 2015 FORS

Team Carmudi speedy teen racer Patrick Oliver “Polo” Bautista seals his victory at the Bracket D division of the Flat Out Race Series’ (FORS) inaugural season with a strong third place finish at the race series eighth leg held at the Clark International Speedway last October 10, 2015.

The 17-year-old Shalom and Circuit champion showed spectators and fellow competitors why he is at the summit of his division. He clocked in an impressive 02:26:279 during the time attack, third fastest out of 13 racers in the division. He was only bested by fellow racers Joey Howard and Lesley Tuazon, who recorded 02:26.159 and 02:26.169 respectively.

Bautista’s performance in the final trial is the cherry on top of his top racing form throughout the series. After starting the season with a sixth place finish on the first leg, the ace driver of Team Carmudi Racing burned the competition on the second and third legs with podium finishes. His streak was cut short as he struggled during the fourth and fifth time attacks, but was able to bounce back to the top with an impressive streak of podium-placing performances at the tail-end of the season. The teen racer is the winner of the Bracket D division at 95 points, with Tuazon, Bautista’s closest rival in the point rankings, trails behind by 11-points.

The Flat Out Race Series is a series racing event made by racers, for racers. It hopes to become a solid grassroots racing program that will groom the future racing superstars that will burn rubber on various racing circuits here and abroad.

Overall, the young Bautista crowned 3rd place under Bracket D division at the 2015 Flat Out Race Series.
