Police Discover Drugs on Abandoned Motorcycle
A man was involved in an accident and immediately fled the scene, prompting police to inspect the motorcycle that led to the discovery of contraband inside the motorcycle’s compartment on a Monday evening in Danao City, February 18, 2019.
Around 8:20 pm, SPO2 Bryan Batiquin witnessed a vehicular accident near his home in Danao City. he immediately helped the victim who was onboard a motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle who was later identified as Wilmat Buot immediately fled the scene.
Danao City Police arrived and discovered 3 medium plastic packs, and a small plastic pack of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride locally known as ‘shabu’.
Police also recovered a weighing scale and P5,090 cash.
The recovered contraband weighed 9.3 grams with a Dangerous Drugs Board value of P63,240. (ASC)
