Poe Didn’t Expect to Top Race

Senatorial candidate Grace Poe says she never expected to be on top of the senatorial race in this mid-term elections.

Poe says that while she’s overjoyed about the partial and unofficial results, she believes that it’s still premature to rejoice for now since the official canvassing is not yet over.

Poe though credits her strong showing to the Team PNoy, her political advertisements, ground presence and her campaign message, which is to help the poor.

Following her in the senatorial race are Loren Legarda in the second rank and Francis “Chiz” Escudero, third.

It was 9-3 in favor of Team PNoy on the partial and unofficial count by the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV), the official election watchdog. The said partial result is as of early dawn today.
