PochoyLabog at the KOA Treehouse

PochoyLabog will be here in Cebu to perform acoustically at the KOA Treehouse on Tuesday night August 12,2014.

Now who is PochoyLabog? PochoyLabog used to be the vocalist of the band Dicta License. Their genre covered a fusion of rock, rap and grunge. They were highly influenced by western artists such as Rage Against the Machine, Lauryn Hill, The Roots, Public Enemy and Incubus.

In 2003, the band released their 5 song EP which contained the original music Burning Streets of Love and Hate, Criminal Smoke, Under the Table, Falling Earth and Undiscarded. Then on 2005 they released their first album, Paghilom under Warner Music Philippines.

These days Pochoy is currently performing with Malay.

MALAY was formed in September 2009 by PochoyLabog. After two years, Miguel Dayanghirang and Alden Abaca joined him to form the current line up of the band.

MALAY’s music is simple and direct. Inspired by the everyday, the band combines music with thought and emotion to come up with a sound that echoes messages of courage and inspiration.

MALAY is consciousness in Filipino. Pochoy, Miguel, and Alden hope to create a consciousness in each person they meet through their music.
