PNoy, Roxas in Cebu Today

President Benigno Aquino III and Liberal Party (LP) standard bearer Mar Roxas is scheduled to arrive in Cebu City today (August 24) to attend a “gathering of friends” at the Cebu Coliseum at 2 p.m.

Some LP members in Cebu said that during the gathering, they would express gratitude to PNoy for endorsing Roxas for the presidency in 2016.

Sources said that about 5,000 people including politicians and sectoral group representatives are expected to attend the said event.

The Cebu Provincial Board is also set to have its regular session at 9 am instead of the regular schedule at 2pm to pave way for the President’s visit.

Aquino is set to visit Daanbantayan town in north Cebu in the morning to inspect a road concreting project worth about P130 million.
