PNoy In Argao, Cebu Today

President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino will be in Argao, Cebu today to meet with local leaders.

Aquino is scheduled to arrive at 3:00 p.m. accompanied by Sec. Rogelio Singson of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and Sec. Mel Senen Sarmiento of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).

He will be accompanied by Cebu Governor Hilario Davide III and some provincial officials.

They will arrive on chopper and proceed immediately to Secretary Serge M. Remonde Sports and Cultural Center in Argao where the local leaders of Cebu are gathered.

There are three beneficiaries of the government’s major programs in Cebu who will give testimonials during the event.

These include a graduate of the Philippine Science High School, a beneficiary of the Pamilyang Pantawid program, and a beneficiart of the handloom Shared Service Facility (SSF) of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

It was also in Argao town that Aquino kicked off his first campaign for President in Cebu six years ago on April 15. (rmn/fcc/PIA7-Cebu)
