PMAP Holds 12th Regional Conference

The People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) will hold its Regional Conference on August 22-23 at Radisson Blu hotel.

In a press conference held in the hotel last week, the board of directors of the organization and conference committee chairpersons enlightened the media of this year’s event.

Themed as “Tomorrow’s HR: Rethink. Reinvent. Rebuild”, the activity aims to bring in together more than 150 human resource and people managers, business executives, and leaders from the academe, religious and government sectors, in one gathering.

This year’s conference is the 12th of PMAP. According to Vera Cis Villamor, the theme is the organization’s working foundation and niche to their businesses.

Topics that will be tackled includes the different issues that surround the industry such as employee training, among others. They will also discuss the clamor on regulation of the use of social media in offices, with the advent of networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.
