PJ wants Davide to Explain Income Tax Irregularities
Gubernatorial aspirant Pablo John Garcia asked his rival lawyer Hilario Davide III to explain the “discrepancies” in his income tax.
Garcia, of One Cebu party, said a friend reportedly tipped him that Davide paid P16,000 as his income in 2010 and P25,000 in the following year. Garcia said that’s a lot of explanation to do from someone who is seeking for a public office. Davide of Liberal Party was a Cebu City Councilor until he resigned in 2010 to run against Garcia’s sister, Gwendolyn, in the same race. He was defeated.
MetroCebuNews tried but failed to contact Davide for his comment.
