Photos of Boston Bombing Suspects Released
The FBI officially released photos of two men who are now considered suspects of Monday’s Boston Marathon bombing.
A video surveillance captured the two men, one with a dark-colored baseball cap and the other wearing a white cap along Boylston Street, near the scene of the bombing.
According to Special Agent Rick DesLauriers, one of the two men was seen putting down a backpack at the site of the second blast just minutes before the explosion.
DesLauriers said the “nation is counting on those people with information” to step forward and help shed light to the attacks. He then said no one should approach the two men except law enforcement, pointing out that the men could be armed and “extremely dangerous”.
A law enforcement official told CNN the two men were seen walking away “pretty casually” in an unreleased video footage when the explosion happened. He also said the men “acted differently than everyone else” at the area.
Meanwhile in a prayer service at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston, President Obama joined the residents and the victims of the bombing and warned the perpetrators that justice would be duly served.
Authorities are still looking into several photos and video footages from surveillance cameras, media men and people who have witnessed the scene.
