Philpost to Issue Shell’s 100th-Year Commemorative Stamp

The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) and Pilipinas Shell recently signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) for the issuance of
commemorative stamps celebrating the 100 years of Shell Petroleum in the Philippines.

The MOA signing was led by Postmaster General Josefina Dela Cruz, PhilPost Retail Division Chief Lenie San Diego, Shell Philippines VP for
Communications Roberto Kanapi and Country Chairman, Shell companies in the Philippines Edgar Chua.

“We are extremely proud and honored to issue this 100th year commemorative stamps as the whole nation celebrate the significant contributions Pilipinas Shell Corporation has made to every Filipino,” Dela Cruz said.

Shell’s corporate presence in the Philippines dates back to 1914 when Shell organized a trading office in the country.

Pilipinas Shell is one of the leading and successful energy companies in the Philippines with socially accepted programs benefitting the
country.
