Philippines AirAsia Promotes Gender Equality in the Workplace
The Board of Directors of Philippines AirAsia announced it will welcome transgender applicants for all positions as part of the company’s inclusive hiring policy.
Philippines AirAsia Chair, Maan Hontiveros said, “AirAsia values diversity in the workplace, and we are thrilled to offer equal employment opportunities to everyone irrespective of their gender identity and sexual orientation.”
Philippines AirAsia has more than 1,000 employees to date with women making up 40% of the total workforce. The company also accepts qualified family members of employees as long as such employment does not create a conflict of interest.

In the weeks and months ahead, expect exciting times, significant changes and improvements from Philippines AirAsia as we are set to expand our operations, increase our fleet, launch new international flights, and introduce innovations. We uphold gender equality and would like to tap into a diverse pool of talented, skilled and creative individuals to be part of our Allstars team.”
The airline is currently looking for qualified applicants for sales, marketing, engineering and ground operations positions. Interested applicants may send their resume topaa_careers@airasia.com.
