PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas Celebrates 10 Consecutive Years of Success & Growth This June

The leading building and construction trade show in the region, PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas will mark a milestone this year with its tenth year anniversary. The event is set to happen on June 6 to 8 and is said to occupy the entire Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino – from the hotel’s outdoor area to each meeting rooms, as well as both Pacific and Atlantic Ballrooms, each will serve a purpose for the event’s grand celebration.

For the past decade, the event has been an effective platform in connecting industry professionals, business owners and consumers which makes it the no. 1 industry showcase in the region since 2009. “Looking back last year, the event closed its showcase recording 10,307 registered industry professionals for three days”, said Engr. Jerry Pancho, Overall Chairman of PHILCONSTRUCT. “Everyone who matters in the construction industry was there! More than 200 suppliers were pleased meeting local engineers, architects, general contractors, developers, property owners, interior designers, and even government procurement heads.”

Industry professionals are encouraged to attend and take part in various seminars and workshops of the show. For its 10th edition, the organizers of the event partnered with the Association of Carrier and Equipment Lessor, Inc. (ACEL), American Concrete Institute (ACI) – Philippine Chapter, and Philippine Society of Plumbing Engineers (PSPE) to design seminars tailor fit for the needs of local industry players.

“With the current endorsement from the Regional Development Council (RDC) 7 of P58.8 billion dedicated for infrastructure development here in Cebu, I am certain that our 10th year celebration will be a blast”, claimed Bernard Sia, Event Chairman of PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas. “We are expecting that more professionals will join us this June to meet the top suppliers in the construction industry, not only from Cebu, but from neighbouring provinces as well. Of course, every construction related business and individual needs to be prepared for these massive developments and upcoming projects in the region.”

Other than a wide variety of premium construction and building materials, a special setting specifically curated by the Philippine Institute of Interior Designers (PIID) Cebu Chapter also awaits the guests attending the show.

PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas’ Outdoor Showcase – A one-of-a-kind experience to check out heavy duty machineries and equipment up close and personal in one convenient venue. More than 50 units are expected to show off including brands from Allianz International Machinery & Trading Corp., Cleamco Industrial Corp., 3 in 1 Marketing, Shacman Motors, Inframachineries Corp., Tata Motors, Civic Merchandising Inc., Ohighland Machineries & Equipment, Inc. and a lot more.

PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas will also feature several industry related seminars to impart cutting-edge knowledge, techniques, and standards to Visayas’ local professionals organized by the Association of Carrier and Equipment Lessor, Inc. (ACEL), American Concrete Institute (ACI) – Philippine Chapter, and Philippine Society of Plumbing Engineers (PSPE).

The Cebu Contractors Association will likewise launch the most up-to-date safety video guide during the event. “We at CCA value each individual working inside a construction site. Every worker is facing real hazard and therefore each must be knowledgeable and always practice safety precautions within the area”, stressed Engr. Pet Dakay, President of CCA.

Contractors licensing and registration booth by the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) will as well run alongside with the show from June 6 to 8, with the following services:

The show will be held back-to-back with HVAC/R Visayas and will be open to industry professionals from June 6 to 8, 10:30 am to 6:30 pm (except on the last day where it will close at 5:00 pm).
