PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas: Cebu’s No. 1 Construction Show

Now on its fourth year, the Cebu Contractors Association (CCA) and the Philippine Constructors Association (PCA), in collaboration with the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry bring PHILCONSTRUCT VISAYAS 2013, the annual industry event that highlights the latest in building and construction.

“We made a conscious effort to add new facets to the show,” Event Chairman Engr. Bernard Vonn Sia said in a press statement. “Everyone from architects to designers, contractors, engineers, developers and homeowners will surely find something here that will suit their needs and interests.”

Set to happen on June 6 to 8 at the Waterfront Cebu City, this industry event will gather together world-class brands all in one venue, bringing the latest technology, materials and services much closer to one of the fastest growing economies in the country: Cebu.

As it ties up with Cebu Furniture Industries, Foundation, Inc. (CFIF), PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas brings the country’s ultimate domestic furniture trade show dubbed as Tubod, a trade showcase by CFIF presenting the Cebu furniture industry. CFIF President Angela Paulin shared that the show focuses on the domestic market, putting much emphasis on creativity and innovation. Local buyers will be able to purchase world-class pieces from the country’s top furniture manufacturers and designers.

TABLESCAPES, a competition staged by the Cebu Chapter of the Philippine Institute of Interior Designers (PIID) is also one of the show’s features. The Architects Pavilion of the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) will once again participate in the exhibit by presenting their upcoming mega projects, as well as residential homes and office buildings.

The industry event will also highlight the sustained growth of the construction industry. The exhibit will comprise of distributors, manufacturers, suppliers, and providers of top brands in heavy equipment, hardware products, paints, cement, air-conditioning, power tools, safety and security systems and water treatment facilities.

Organizers guarantee that the exhibit will be bigger and better than anything Cebu has ever seen. “No other show comes close to PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas,” Sia said.

Being the convergence of the construction industry, PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas will have over 500 booths occupying over 7, 000 square meters of exhibition space – the biggest of its kind in the Visayas region.
