Philconstruct Visayas 2015 Opens Biggest Show To Date

The much awaited first leg of the PHILCONSTRUCT show series opened at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino, Lahug yesterday. PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas is now on its 6th year and will be open to visitors from 10:30 am until 6:30 pm on June 4 to 5, and from 10:30 A.M. to 5:00 pm on June 6.

The Philconstruct Events, Exhibitions, and Conferences Corporation (PEECC), together with the Cebu Contractors Association Inc. (CCA), the Philippine Constructors Association, Inc. (PCA) and the Philippine Society of Ventilating, Air-Conditioning and Refrigerating Engineers (PSVARE), formally opened the sixth PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas, which is held alongside HVAC/R Visayas – the only tradeshow for heating, cooling and ventilating technologies, as the region ushers in continuous growth in the building and construction economy.

“By bringing together a huge cluster of local, regional, and international companies to Cebu year after year, PHILCONSTRUCT has established its role in bringing to fore new technologies and experiences, creating partnerships and boosting commercial trade,” said Peter Paul Dy, Jr., President of CCA.

Over the years, the exhibition has been the most sought after meeting place for people on the lookout for different products, equipment, and technologies in the construction industry. Other show features to look forward to are the Architects’ Pavilion and Interior Designers’ Pavilion which promotes the skills of talented architects from the United Architects of the Philippines – District C1 and interior designers from the Philippine Institute of Interior Designers – Cebu Chapter.
