PH Navy Conducts Test Fires in Camotes
The Philippine Navy in the Visayas has conducted a test-fire of armaments in the waters off Camotes Island on Wednesday, November 24, 2021.
The Naval Task Force 50 tested the armaments of the patrol craft BRP Abraham Campo (PC396).
Notice to all mariners (NOTAM) was already sent earlier to alert vessels to avoid the area during the testing.
The BRP Abraham Campo (PC396) completed the activity without any injuries, casualties, or damage to equipment.
The activity aims to test the functionality of the naval armaments and also evaluate the readiness of the crew on-board the ship.
Health and safety protocols were followed during the activity. (ASC)
