PH Logs Over 11.7M Vaccinated Individuals from COVID-19
The National Task Force (NTF) against coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on Monday said that 11,708,029 individuals have now been vaccinated against the virus in the Philippines.
Moreover, the latest NTF data also shows that as of July 4, a total of 2,868,905 individuals have so far completed the two doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
Meanwhile, 8,839,124 individuals have so far received the first jab.
NTF also reported that average daily vaccination rate from the past seven days sits at 254,141 doses from an average of 1,197 vaccination sites actively reporting numbers.
Healthcare workers and senior citizens
NTF also reported that 1,156,220 healthcare workers in the country are fully vaccinated since the start of the vaccination program for healthcare workers, while 1,714,313 healthcare workers received the first shot of COVID-19 vaccines.
The vaccination of senior citizens under the A2 category of priority groups is still continuing as 2,524,204 senior citizens have been vaccinated. (GFB)
