PH Launches eTravel Portal for Inbound Travelers, Returning OFWs
All inbound travelers to the Philippines will now provide their information along with their respective health declarations through a single portal starting Friday as the government moves to streamline the country’s entry procedures and integrate further multiple agencies through a singular platform.
This comes as the government announced the launching of eTravel, which will serve as the online registration platform and will include the health declaration checklist of the Department of Health’s Bureau of Quarantine.
The portal replaces the One Health Pass website, which will not be accessible starting on December 5.
Moreover, eTravel will also integrate the arrival card that travelers must submit for immigration clearance as the Bureau of Immigration will discontinue the use of their paper arrival card also on December 5.
Meanwhile, the Office of the Press Secretary warned against transacting with websites of entities that require payments as the registration on the new eTravel platform is free.
“The public is warned against transacting with any entities or websites soliciting payments and fees of any kind as these are in no way related to the official eTravel platform of the Philippine Government,” the OPS said. (GFB)
