Philippine-based firm First Circle, a financial technology firm which provides financing to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) was included as one of inclusive startups globally in the 2020 Cohort Inclusive Fintech 50.
First Circle was selected as one of the top 50 firms out of 403 fintech firms from 111 countries, for their impact on unserved and underserved businesses and individuals even before COVID-19 struck the world.
First Circle was the only Philippine-based fintech firm to made it to the list.
The inclusion of First Circle to The Inclusive Fintech 50, in the top 50 list is due to the services the firm offers, providing financing to customers with no credit data or fixed collateral that are excluded from the banking sector.
