PESO Province Consistently Gets Recognitions

Cebu Provincial’s Public Employment Service Office continues to provide outstanding employment services. Over the years, PESO Cebu received recognition and awards for giving value contribution to the achievement of decent work goals.

Cebu Province bested Bohol, Siquijor and Negros Oriental in the 2014 Regional PESO Awards for seven consecutive years. With this recognition, PESO Cebu earned the nomination for the National Best PESO Award.

It continues to earn recognition not only from PESO Congress but also from other agencies and organization because of its effective implementation of programs. Zonta Club of Cebu I lauded PESO earning them a Leadership Award while DOLE Region 7 cited the office for being Top PESO Performer in the region.

This is an evidence that the office is one of the best employment providers in the country. By conducting six job fairs annually, PESO has offered thousands of job opportunities for the public both local and international.

According to Dr. Mathea Baguia, Capitol Consultant on Employment Services, recognitions will encourage motivation for them to work hard in providing the best interest for the people.
