Peace, Love, Serenitea
Prepare that big smile milktea-lovers! A must-try tea house is now officially open in the Metro. Known as one of the best milk tea places in Manila, Serenitea goes South as it opens its first franchise outside the country’s capital.
Serenitea was derived from the thought of feeling serene while sipping a cup of tea. Their butterfly trademark represents the soft personality of the tea vibe. It first opened way-back 2008 in San Juan, Metro Manila.
“Currently, we already have 23 branches in Manila,” said Juliet D. Herrera, owner of Serenitea.
Serenitea Cebu which is located at the ground floor of Calyx Center, Asiatown IT Park is their 24th branch. The branch is franchised by business partners, Crystal Ong and Jay Bernardo.
With the milk tea fuss around, bringing Serenitea in Cebu was not a problem for the franchisers. But of course, Serenitea’s satisfying taste and freshness of freshly brewed tea will surely capture the Cebuanos’taste buds.
Serenitea soft opened last April 2013 having an outdoor setting. Last Saturday, May 25, 2013, they had their grand opening as they presented an indoor establishment in respond to the growing number of customers of the tea house.
“We will operate with an indoor and outdoor area,” said Crystal Ong.
Now, you can enjoy your tea in an airconditioned area or you can savour it in their outdoor area which gives you the feel that you are in a porch of a house.
Whenever that milk tea cravings hit you, head to Serenitea – IT Park, a distinct and a “not your ordinary cup of tea” is waiting for you.
