PBCOM Inks Partnership with Leuterio Realty and Brokerage
The Philippine Bank of Communications (PBCOM) has officially signed a partnership with the country’s thriving real estate brand- Leuterio Realty and Brokerage.
This partnership makes home purchase fulfilling since PBCOM will distribute its lending products through the latter’s network of close to 6,000 brokers and agents nationwide.
“PBCOM is very flexible bank that can help people to get their house through more access to finance,” said Chris Malazarte, Rent.ph managing partner.
The growing demand of the consumers in terms of access to financing on home loans led PBCOM to aggressively push for consumer loans last year aside from concentrating on corporate loans.
“We are focusing on corporate loans in the previous years. However, we see the demand of consumer loans since we started it aggressively on 2013,” said consumer finance group head FVP Ricardo Mendoza.
PBCOM Home Loan Head assistant vice president Virgilio Caedo, said that the bank has already released P1.2 billion for home loans since last year, close to its year-end target of P1.6 billion.
Aside from home loans, PBCOM’s consumer loan portfolio also offers auto loan and personal loan.
Home loans can be used by purchasing house and lot, residential condominium units, town houses or residential vacant lot, construction or renovation of home, refinancing of an existing home loan, reimbursement of home purchase or construction, and purchase of mixed-used property or shop house classified as “residential”.
It has a loaning amount up to 80% of the appraised value of the property up to 20 years.
Auto loans can be acquired by purchasing a personal or business brand new and used vehicle, and reimbursement of a brand new vehicle. It has a loaning amount up to 70 to 80% with a loan term of 12 to 48 or 60 months.
Personal loans can be availed thru cash solution. It has a loaning amount of P40,000 to P1,000,000 up to 12,18,24, 36, or 48 months.
The bank also offers deposit and investment products, consumer and commercial loans, and cash management services.
PBCOM has 72 branches and 4 other banking offices located across the country.
