PB Congratulates Gazini Ganados for Winning 2019 Binibining Pilipinas-Universe

The Cebu Provincial Board (PB), in its regular session on Monday, June 10, congratulated Gazini Christiana Ganados for winning this year’s Binibining Pilipinas-Universe title during the coronation night held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum over the weekend.

Ganados, who hails from Talisay City, Cebu, will represent the Philippines at the 2019 Miss Universe pageant set later this year. She was crowned by Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.

“Being crowned as Binibining Pilipinas 2019 out from a bevy of beautiful Filipina beauties from all over the country was no mean feat as this is not a mere beauty contest but one that also gauges intelligence, admirable comportment, prompt and witty repartee and captivating charisma with high audience impact; the judges in this competition has found Miss Ganados to have excelled in all these categories,” read the resolution.

Ganados was also awarded the Face of Binibini (Miss Photogenic) and Best in Long Gown.

PB Member Jude Sybico moved for the approval of the “consolidated” resolution that was seconded by PB Member Raul Bacaltos, who represents the first district of Cebu in the board.

Samantha Ashley Lo representing Cebu City also won the Binibining Pilipinas Grand International crown and is set to compete at the Miss Grand International pagent in October. (Cebu Provincial Govt.)
