Partly Cloudy, Isolated Showers on Saturday — PAGASA
The country will experience cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms, Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its Saturday weather forecast.
As of today, no tropical cyclone exists within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country. Isolated thunderstorms are also expected in these areas.
In Northern Luzon, moderate to strong winds blowing from the east to northeast will prevail, and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
PAGASA said that elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast with with slight to moderate seas.
As of 8:30 a.m., PAGASA reported that thunderstorm, which may last for one to two hours, is experienced over Bohol, Southern Leyte and nearby areas.
Everyone in those areas was advised to take precautionary measures against strong winds, heavy rains, lightning and possible flash floods. (PNA) JBP/MCCA
