Parklane International Hotel Glitters on its 8th Year Anniversary

Parklane International hotel recently celebrated its 8th year anniversary in a classic 1920 fashion style that depicts the latest Leonardo De Caprio’s nostalgic “The Great Gatsby”.

The party was classically memorialized with guests from the business sector at the Hotel’s Victoria Hall.

Janette Tolentino, Marketing Communication Manager of Parklane International Hotel Cebu said Parklane remains to be the hotel that truly stands for Cebu.

“We want to be the gateway and information source for travellers who want to go around Cebu…We are always proud of our service that is very unique with a Cebuano touch especially with our staff who are always pleased to greet you in Cebuano saying “Dayon Kamo” Tolentino said.

Prior to the anniversary, it has been a tradition for Parklane to spearhead series of events. Its activities include a marathon honoring their late president Mr. Manuel Ting held last June 22, and a medical mission that benefited almost 2000 patients at ParkMall Mandaue last July 5.

Also present during the event are beauty queens Jamie Hereell, Miss Philippines Earth 2014, and Miss Philippines Earth Water Kimberly Covert. The two earth champions talked about their new environmental campaign entitled ‘Think Twice”.

This year, Parklane’s “Sangka sa Kaha”, an annual provincial cooking show contest featuring local delicacy, will visit Danao town for the said cooking competition.

The winner of the cooking contest will get the chance to cook for the hotel and the winning recipe will become part hotel’s menu in their famous “Kan-anan” restaurant, known for its Cebuano cuisines.
