Cebu Parklane International Hotel (CPIH) is set to unfold another Hunat Sugbu Triathlon event on September 21 in Argao, to help promote the tourism in the city.

Hunat Sugbo started out as ‘Dagan Para ni Maning’, a memorial run for the late owner of the hotel- Manuel Ting– which aims to stand true to what they believe in– to promote the entire Cebu as the next tourist destination. This is in line with the core value of CPIH as a “hotel in Cebu that stands for Cebu.”

During the press conference held at the Casa Real in Argao, Ms. Cen Manguilomotan said “Parklane will not only thrive as a hotel…will not only grow as a business, but we want to grow with the community.”

She also added that Argao has so much to offer and they want their triathletes to take home with them not only the triathlon experience but also the experience with the destination.

They want to push the overall aspect of Argao through adventure, its heritage and the taste making the triathletes to serve as the ambassadors of the destination.

“The triathlon will serve as the door to the world of what really Argao city can offer” said Cen Manguilomotan, General Manager of Cebu Parklane International Hotel.

Mayor Edsel Galeos said his thrust since he sat as the city mayor is to promote the tourism in the city to have economic benefit in each and everyone.

‘Ang akong thrust paglingkod nako diri…Ipromote nato atong lungsod para naay economic benefit matag-usa” said Mayor Edsel Galeos of Argao City.

Jose Baring, the race director said the swim leg will start at Mahayahay Beach Resort to a nearby shore not far to the city Tennis court for the bike and run leg. Most likely, the city municipal hall will serve as the outset for the race and will continue around the city for triathletes to catch a glimpse of the different sceneries and spots in the area.
