Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ1000 Announced
Panasonic has announced the world’s first 4K video recording capability on a digital compact camera, the LUMIX DMC-FZ1000. The DMC-FZ1000 is capable of achieving high resolution edge to edge, resulting in stunningly beautiful defocus alongside the large-sized MOS Sensor, thanks to a recently developed LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT 16x optical zoom lens that has been integrated within.
With a 1-inch large 20.1-megapixel High Sensitivity MOS Sensor, the DMC-FZ1000 is capable of dramatically improving S/N (signal to noise) ratio, allowing to capture a clear image with minimum noise even when it is shot at a high ISO.
Additionally, the Venus Engine will also offer multiple noise reduction systems such as Multi Process NR, Random Filter and Aperture Filter, letting you achieve high color reproduction and high image quality with a natural look.
Thanks to the introduction of 4K (QFHD 4K: 3840×2160, up to 30 fps in MP4) video recording capability, you will be able to have solid footage for your future video edits to work with.
The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ1000 also comes with Wi-Fi connectivity and NFC (Near Field Communication), letting you share your shooting experience instantly.
