‘Panahon Sa Taiwan’ Comes to Cebu

Taiwan Tourism Bureau with Travel Agencies and Airline Companies were present in this year’s “Panahon sa Taiwan” at the Bai Hotel on February 22, 2019.

Panahon sa Taiwan is an event promoting the different tourist destinations, festivals, culture, traditions and delicacies in the country.

Present in the event were tourist and airline companies—among them were Airasia, Tigerair, Edison travel, Eagle Tours, Grand Tours, Beautiful Taiwan Travels (BTT), HWAFU Tourism Group.

Chou Shi-pi, Director of Taiwan Tourism Bureau said that this year there are promoting other tourist spots in Taiwan like the different National Parks, National Recreation Areas, Theme Parks, farms, Amusement Parks, hot springs and bike tours.

“We have a new theme about the Taiwan Tourism Promotion is ‘Taiwan Small Town Rainbow’… because I think every person who visit Taiwan for the first time they always visit Taipei but Taiwan is a beautiful country they also have different city and counties,” he said.

The Taiwan Tourism Bureau also highlights the different Festivals this year like the Lantern Festivals in Taipei and Kaohsiung which showcases both traditional and modern lanterns.

Taiwan Tourism Bureau also offers a 14-day free visa for those who want to visit Taiwan until July 31, 2019 to make it more convenient for Filipinos who plan to spend their vacation in Taiwan . (ASC)
