Manila (PNA) — President Benigno S. Aquino III remains committed to implementing more reforms that are beneficial to every Filipino in the remaining two years of his administration, a Palace official said on Sunday.

Presidential Communication Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Herminio Coloma stressed this amid the Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP) controversy and other challenges that recently rocked the government.

“Hindi po natitinag ang determinasyon ng Pangulo. Hindi po nagbabago ‘yung kanyang masidhing commitment na maihatid sa kanyang mga boss ang mga ipinangakong reporma, matupad ang mga priority initiatives ng ating Philippine Development Plan at masigasig po niyang pinapaalalahanan ang mga miyembro ng Gabinete sa mga assignment nila,” he said in a press briefing over radio station dzRB Radyo ng Bayan.

In fact, Coloma said that apart from preparing for his Monday’s State-of-the-Nation Address (SONA), the President is also formulating his budget message.

The PCOO chief added that President Aquino is committed to serve Filipinos in the best way.

(PNA) CTB/LDV
