Painter Caught with P2-M Worth of Shabu in a Buy-Bust Op
A construction painter was arrested for illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation on Wednesday in Brgy. Banawa, Cebu City, February 27, 2019.
Around 5 in the afternoon, operatives from PDEA Region VII, Regional Intelligence Division 7 and PNP Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) conducted the buy-bust in the area and arrested 20-year-old, Allan Torrefranca.
Torrefranca was nabbed with three plastic packs of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride locally known as ‘shabu’.
The contraband had an estimated weight of 300 grams with a market value of P2,040,000.
Torrefranca is now detained and will face charges in violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (ASC)
