PAGASA: Ruby Weakens Slightly, But 47 Provinces Still at Risk
State weather agency reported Friday that Typhoon Ruby has weakened to 195 kph and decreased its reach.
However, 47 provinces still remained on PAGASA’s list of “Potential High Risk Areas.”
As of Thursday, PAGASA identified 56 provinces as critical as Typhoon Ruby headed for the archipelago.
PAGASA added that Ruby reduces its forecast tract, lowering to 600 km diameter from the previous 700.
The weather bureau advised those in the 47 provinces to continue being watchful of the typhoon’s movement.
