Published

Fair weather with isolated thunderstorms is expected in most parts of the country on Monday, state weather bureau Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

PAGASA said the weakening southwest monsoon continues to be the dominant weather system affecting extreme northern Luzon.

For Monday forecast, the southwest monsoon will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with rainshowers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough.

Light to moderate winds coming from the south to southwest will prevail over the rest of Luzon and from the southeast to south over the rest of the country with slight to moderate seas.

The state weather bureau has not issued gale warning as the fisherfolks are safe to venture into the seas. (PNA) JMC/CLTC
