PAGASA: Monsoon Rains to Persist on Thursday
State-run weather bureau Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the southwest monsoon or habagat will continue to bring isolated rainshowers in Metro Manila and most parts of Luzon on Thursday.
In its 5 a.m. weather bulletin, PAGASA said Metro Manila will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with thunderstorms.
The regions of Ilocos and Cordillera, and the provinces of Zambales and Bataan will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms.
Other parts of the country will also experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies, along with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Luzon will also feel moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest, affecting its coastal waters to be moderate to rough.
Other areas will have light to moderate winds from the southwest to west. Sea condition will be light to moderate. (PNA) JMC/JLD
