PAGASA: LPA Spotted off WPS; Rainshowers on Monday
A low pressure area (LPA) was spotted off the West Philippine Sea on Monday which is expected to bring rains in Luzon, state weather bureau Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
In its forecast, PAGASA said as of 4 a.m., the LPA was seen 195 kilometers west of Dagupan City, Pangasinan.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, the state weather bureau said.
Light to moderate winds will blow from southwest to southeast over Luzon, and from southwest to south over Visayas and Mindanao.
The country’s coastal waters will be slight to moderate, PAGASA added. (PNA) JMC/MCCA
