PAGASA: Good Weather To Continue In Next 3 Days
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) is projecting fair weather on Friday as easterlies or warm air from the east continues to be the dominant weather system affecting the country.
PAGASA weather forecaster Aldczar Aurelio said the northeast monsoon has receded but is expected to return next week.
“We’ll have fair weather for the entire country in the next three days,” Aurello told PNA.
In effect, the fair weather forecast also leads to no issuance of the gale warning, thus making it safe for fishermen to venture into the seas.
He noted the easterlies now affect the eastern section of the country.
For Friday forecast, partly cloudy to cloudy skies will prevail over the whole country with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly over the eastern section.
Light to moderate winds blowing from the east to southeast will prevail over Luzon and coming from the east to northeast over Visayas and Mindanao. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate. (PNA) JBP/CLTC
