PAGASA: Fair Weather Prevails Until Easter Sunday
Pilgrims and vacationers will continue to experience good weather until Easter Sunday as the state weather agency said Friday only the easterlies remain to be the dominant weather system affecting the country in the next two days.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) weather forecaster Fernando Cada said most parts of country will remain to have good weather aside from possible afternoon or evening rains due to localized thunderstorms or convections.
He noted that the whole country will continue to experience sunny to partly cloudy skies until Sunday.
In its advisory, PAGASA said that the easterlies are affecting Northern Luzon that will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
It added that light to moderate winds blowing from the east and northeast will prevail over Luzon and the Visayas and coming from the northeast and northwest over Mindanao. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate. (PNA) FPV/CLTC
