Cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and isolated thunderstorms will be experienced over the Caraga, Davao and SOCCSKSARGEN regions Saturday, which may trigger flash floods and landslides, the state weather bureau, PAGASA, said.
Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms will prevail over eastern Visayas and the rest of Mindanao.
Cagayan Valley and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon are expected to have cloudy skies with light rains.
Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced over Metro Manila and the regions of Cordillera, Ilocos and the rest of Central Luzon.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of the country, PAGASA added.
In its 24-hour advisory, the bureau cited that the northeast monsoon is affecting Luzon.
Moderate to strong winds will blow from northeast over Luzon and eastern Visayas. Coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.
Elsewhere, PAGASA said winds will be light to moderate coming from northeast to north, with slight to moderate seas. (PNA)CVL/MCCA
