Pag-IBIG’s Multi-Purpose Loan (MPL) Goes Digital
With the new pronouncement by the President Rodrigo Roa Duterte last June 15, reverting Cebu City to Enhance Community Quarantine (ECQ), Pag-IBIG Fund Cebu-Ayala Branch and Cebu-Colon Branch are closed from June 16 up to date.
With this, Pag-IBIG Fund is now accepting Multi-Purpose Loan (MPL) or Calamity Loan applications through its Virtual Pag-IBIG website.
In line with its efforts to continue providing members’ Pag-IBIG Fund benefits while ensuring everyone’s safety, Pag-IBIG encourages members to make use of this online facility in filing MPL or Calamity Loan. This facility is initially available to members with a Loyalty Card Plus (powered by Asia United Bank or Union Bank) or Land Bank cash cards.
To apply online, members simply need to click this link.

Meanwhile, Pag-IBIG has released an advisory for employers who don’t have operations during ECQ. Employers are required to submit a notarized Employer Certification that indicates the halting of operations for a certain period and that the employer did not deduct Pag-IBIG contributions from its employees. The certification must be duly received by DOLE.
