P60k Worth of Cash Retrieved from Thief
P60k worth of cash and other valuables were recovered from a thief that victimized a businessman on last October 15, 2018.
Around 1:50 a.m., police officers on board a patrol car of Abellana Police Station 2 intercepted the suspect while patrolling the area where the “snatching” happened.
The police arrested Eduardo Cordero Jr., 28, a native of Negros Occidental and temporarily resides at Brgy. Soong, Lapu-lapu City.
The victim positively identified the suspect and recovered P60,000 cash, a passbook, keys and other valuables.
Cordero is temporarily detained at the Abellana Police detention facility while waiting for proper filing of charges. (Aljun S. Cainghog)
