P143k Worth of Drugs Nabbed in Talisay City
P143,500.00 worth of suspected drugs was nabbed from three individuals on a buy-bust operation at Tangke, Talisay City.
Talisay City Police, led by OIC, PSUPT Marlu Palomaria Conag, conducted an anti-drug operation at Sito San Rafael, Brgy Tangke, Talisay City, Cebu on June 26.
According to the press release of Talisay City Police, the buy-bust operation led to the arrest of three newly-identified drug personalities namely Christopher Cabanes Badajos, 19 year old, a resident of the said barangay who was caught in the act; Gramen Celetaria Paquibot alias “Iti”, 24 years old, a resident of Purok 1, Sitio Sto. Niño, Inabanga, Bohol, and Ryan Rivera Reyes alias “Plakay”, 23 years old, a resident Sitio Rattan, Brgy Tangke, Talisay City, Cebu.
Both Reyes and Paquibot were arrested in a buy-bust while Badajos was caught in the act.
Confiscated in Badajos’ possession were 36 pieces of plastics packs suspected to be shabu with an estimated street value of P18,500.00, confiscated in Paquibot’s possession were 53 plastic sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 13.95 grams and an estimated value of P95,000.00, and recovered from Reyes’ possession were 58 plastic packs of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 2.95 grams and an estimated street value of P29,500.00.
All arrested individuals were detained at the lock-up facility in Talisay City while seized items were submitted to the Regional Crime Laboratory Office (RCLO) 7 to be examined and properly disposed. (Aljun Cainghog)
