P13-M Worth of Shabu Nabbed in Cebu CIty
More than P13 million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride locally known as “shabu” was recovered from two suspects in a buy-bust operation on a Saturday in Sitio All Season II, Brgy. Cogon Pardo, Cebu City, February 16, 2019.
Police identify the two suspects as Giovani Cañares and Danilo Dela Cerna both 22 years old and both are also residents of Sitio Manol, Brgy. Tisa, Cebu City.
Saturday’s drug bust was one of the biggest yet this year as two kilos of suspected shabu was recovered form the suspects.
The recovered contraband had a Dangerous Drugs Board value of P13.6 million.
Both suspects are now detained and will face charges in violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (ASC)
