P1.2M Worth of Drugs Seized in Talisay

The Talisay City Police Station, through their consistent “Oplan Limpyo Talisay” arrested 5 lawbreakers confiscating P1.2 million worth of illegal drugs and firearms last Sunday night, January 19.

Spearheaded by the Talisay City Police Station Chief, PMAJ. Gerard Ace Pelare, they conducted 2 consecutive buy bust operations in Laray, Barangay San Roque at around 9:50 p.m.

Authorities arrested 3 drug personalities of which one was identified by the police as a “High Value Target” (HVT).

Meanwhile, 2 other suspects involved in theft were also caught by the authorities while another cohort remains at large.

190 grams of suspected shabu and a 9mm revolver loaded with 4 live ammunition were seized during the operation.(MLC)
