Over P300k Worth of Drugs Nabbed in Separate Buy-Bust Ops

Two were arrested in two different buy-bust operations by Cebu City Police Station 2 in Brgy. Cogon Ramos and Brgy. Sambag I in Cebu City on March 8, 2019.

Operatives from police station 2 arrested Michael Angelo Abella, 24, a resident of Brgy. T. Padilla, Cebu City and Angelika Romo, 19, a resident of Sitio Tomoy, Brgy Pahina Central, Cebu City.

Abella was arrested in Barangay Cogon Ramos, Cebu City and was nabbed with 13 small plastic packs of suspected shabu, 4 medium plastic packs of suspected shabu that weighed 21.17 grams with a value of P143,956.

Meanwhile, Romo was arrested in another buy-bust operation in N. Bacalso Ave., Barangay Sambag 1, Cebu City.

Romo yielded 17 small packs and 6 medium packs of suspected shabu that weighed in 31.53 grams with an estimated value of P214,404.

P358,360 worth of drugs in total were recovered from the suspects that are now detained. (ASC)
