Over 45M COVID-19 doses Administered, Vax Delivery Consistent
Consistent deliveries and supplies for COVID-19 vaccines has helped the improving pace of vaccination against the pandemic in the whole country.
The Philippines has so far administered 45,950,753 doses in the whole nation, 24,389,958 Of which are first dose administrations, while the country now boasts 21,560,795 second doses, which includes the one-shot vaccine of Johnson & Johnson.
Moreover, the country’s daily average jabs number at 355,222 doses.
Meanwhile, around 100 million additional doses of COVID-19 vaccines are set to arrive in the country this October, according to National Task Force Against Covid-19 chief Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. Friday during the arrival of 883,350 Pfizer vaccines co-procured by the US Government with the COVAX Facility.
The Philippines has so far received a total of 75,597,140 COVID-19 vaccines.
Vaccines for minors
Emergency Use Authorization for the administrations of Moderna and Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines was approved by the Food and Drug Administration, with the test run for the vaccination to be done for two weeks. (GFB)
